GAS attack

I just got back from the local guitar shop....still looking for a tele. didn't find the tele, but they had a PRS soapbar II that, turns out...is a really cool guitar. I had seen it in there before, but never really looked at it. It has 2 P-90's, a stopbar tailpiece, 1 volume, 1 tone, and a 3 position switch. tele like in its simplicity. it is really light (i thought it was chambered..but alas..no.... but a mahogony body) vintage cherry finish... it has a great set neck...reminded me of an old les paul junior. I ALMOST bought it on the spot. but my frugal nature did not allow that. instead I came home and did some price checking. turns out, the local shop has a great price on it...cheaper than MF. $454.00 with courdora gig bag...hmmmm.... I may have to go back and get it....tele acquisition would have to go on back burner for awhile....hmmmm.

I bagged a PRS singlecut soap bar. Same set up as the II on ebay a few weeks ago. $650. It has Fralin P-90s and also came with the stock p-90s which I have not heard. It has a big fat '59 type neck. It is killer! I was going to get a Gibson, but why bother. Save the coin and get the PRS.
I'd go back and grab that one if it sings for you. Every one sounds different. Same goes for Teles.
