I need help creating an itinerary

I need help,

I have a gig in Vegas on April 25 then I have to be in Nashville around May 5th for a few days, then I have a gig in Albuquerque May 11th.

I would like to travel and visit with some of the other pickers here, and sit in or jam with anyone who has gigs somewhere between those towns and dates.
I was thinking maybe around Austin and San Antonio. My cousin has a band down in that area and is playing in Kerrville on the (I think)29 or 30 of April.
Also any gigs or jams in Nashville around the first week of May, and anything in Albuquerque the second weekend.

I'm going to be driving and will have my guitar, amp, banjo, steel, and dobro with me. I am willing to sit in and pick or jam with anyone for gas money or tips.

It's the "Pickin' my way across America 2005 tour!"

THANK-ALVIN

Alvin,
I'd invite you come sit in with our band, but there are 2 negatives to that idea.
  • First, we're about 2 1/2 hrs. south of Nashville.

Second, we suck and I'd be embarrassed for any of my TDPRI friends to hear just how bad I really am.

Actually, we're not that bad really.......if you don't mind (for example) playing Sweet Home Alabama as it should be.....then as a ballad.....then as a speed rocker all without playing the song more than once a night.

Joel

I might be able to help a little on Sat 30th in Austin... we've got 2 short (45 min) gigs, on 2 different stages, a few blocks apart, at 4p and 7p that day... I think the band's website is in my profile, PM if you think you'll be in town that day, and if you're interested.
