LP to MP3/WMA Conversion recommendations
I'm looking to convert a number of my old LPs to digital and would like recommendations on software I can use to make the task easier. I've seen some positive reviews of LP Recorder/Ripper and i-Sounds products but would like some first hand feedback from anyone whose been there/done that. Also, any feelings on WMA vs MP3?
Thanks. |

EAC
EAC (http://www.exactaudiocopy.de) is probably the most accurate ripper out there, and it's free. It will give you .WAVs or .MP3s. I guess Windows Media Player will save a .wav to .wma, if you want it.

Only problem now is that my turntable completely died and I don't want to spend more than $50 to get a new one, since my ultimate goal is to get rid of all my LPs after burning the few I can't find on CD... Jeff in Boston |
