yeah, i always thought about ''Checkpoint Charlie'', but i googled it, and found that a few other bands have used it - dont know if they copywrited it, but that was my reasoning.

Plus, ive always thot that my origonal format was quite a punky sounding one - if that makes any sense!

How about "Checkpoint Chuck", or "Chucky Checkpoint",
or "Chucky Checkpoint and the Wall"?

I'm kind of old and out of the loop to really be taken seriously at suggesting band names though.

Band name...

My 15 year old son came up with a name for his band, that has never played more than 20 seconds of ANY song...

I think it is pure genius. Let's see what you think.

Ready?

there are some great band names on chinese menus.
one of my favorite:

"Sister Double Happiness" used by a bay area band

one everyone's heard of "Four Seasons"

some that may or may not have been used by bands:

Triple Crown
Dragon and the Phoenix
Twice Cooked
General Tsao
Sizzling Flavors
Egg Foo Young
Bird Nest
King of the Sea

The list goes on.... but I wont....

I was going to use this for my band some day, but I doubt I'll ever have a band, and you don't live anywhere close anyway.

When my sister was about that age she was always telling me about the band she was going to put together(but never did). She wanted to call it "Under aged & Overrated" - I thought that was one of the best band names I had ever heard!
