I'm shocked. I thought I'd plateaued out with the things I've 'added back' to my diet, like a small carb side dish w/dinner, and a more elaborate dessert.

But I'm still burning a little more than I'm eating, so I'm sticking with it to see where it goes.

I did this before in 2009, went from about 221 to 203, and it's definitely easier this time around, due in no small part to this weekly check in.

85.8 kg down 0.3 kg from last week. It's a long slow process but probably sustainable. At this rate I'll be at my goal weight (82 kg) around my birthday in late June.

I seem to have hit a wall.

I put on a pound and a bit back on my birthday weekend and I haven't been able to drop it off again.

Still hovering at 216#.

lost - 14.0 lbs (59.0 lbs since 3/1/11)

I am now 1 lb away from my goal. Granted it is 2 months later (based on my original 3/1/11 goal), but I am still stoked!!!

I always weigh in first thing in the morning, buck naked after a pee (just thought I'd share ). If I then have a glass of water and go back to bed, usually after a second pee (sorry!) I'm down 0.3 kg ( over 0.5 lbs).

So I got to sleep in this morning. My first weight was 85.5, second was 84.9. There's some variability in the scales, but wow! Anyway, I'm sticking with my first weight of 85.5 kg, which is down from 85.8 last week.

I am a cyclist and if I get enough time to ride, I can burn thousands of calories in a few hours.
1000 cal/hr is a good, hard ride.
Problem is, my wife is a fantastic cook and though I have been a vegetarian (+ fish, eggs, dairy) for a year and a half, I am a sucker for her baked goods.
Getting a bike ride in tomorrow before work, Lord willing...should get me off to a good start for the week before I weigh in and post up next Thursday am. :)
