Ukulele?
Does anyone else play the uke?
I mess around on the uke almost as much as I mess around on guitar and I love that little instrument. It is impossible to be depressed while playing the ukulele. Are any of you other guys closet uke players? |

I've been wanting to get one.
It's probably moved up #2 or 3 on my G.A.S. list by now.
My sister who plays concert violin has a little martin one that I didn't like. If I want a Koa one, I'll have to wait. I need happy. Maybe I'll move it to #1. David

I am.
I have 3. One soprano and two baritones. Lots of fun to play and easy to transport. The baritone is my "front porch sitting" instrument. There all fairly cheap, but they sound good. I'd like to get a decent soprano one of these days.

Been playing my uke for about three months now
unfortunately has left my geetars getting dusty! Working on some Beatles tunes and taking lessons. Much easier to play! Especially with my stubby hands. Have a tenor uke, Lanikai, "cheepy". Looking to move up in the next couple of years..... Ram On.

You Bet
We have two... I bought my wife a beautiful Koa wood Uke made in Hawaii from www.hawiianshirtguy.com for Mother's Day last year and I just got a nice "Hilo" model that was about 1/4 the price because it was made in China just last week.
We don't play them all that often except when we go camping. Ukes are super fun and adictive instruments! Paul Green |
