I really didn't understand what made Hersel's house so popular anyways. There should be several other empty farmhouses around they could take over and fortify. It would have been interesting to see them compete savaging for the few remaining resources. |

your assuming the mains power is off. assuming they have mains power of course. its perfectly probable they have a hydroelectric generator from the river. although id rather never see of hear a generator than have it buzzing in the background of every conversation for the sake of realism

I'm normally very tolerant of talking scenes, even in this show. You can't have an hour of zombie-fighting per week, every week, and the effect this zombiefied world has on human survivors is part of the appeal. But holy cow...how much of this six-episode season has been spent on arguing about what to do with the outsider, starting to act on a decision, then backtracking again and again?
At this point, I WANT the guy dead, just to see an end to this story line. I was rooting for the swamp zombie to wander into the camp and get him, even though that would've been kind of a cheap, zombie-ex-machina solution. When Carl showed up at the almost-execution, I was actually hoping he had somehow retrieved that .45 from the swamp and would cap the guy himself.

The biggest thing that I don't get is, why are they always talking about how short on ammunition they are?
There's guns & ammo all over the US and especially in the south. And all they have to do is take it. And when they found the abandoned water truck. They grabbed a few bottles of water because they knew they'd need water to survive. But it was a whole stinkin truck full of water. And it was abandoned. So why didn't they just take the whole truck? And they make a bunch of trips to the pharmacy instead of grabbing everything at once & bringing it back to the farm. But I'd risk the walkers too if it was my only chance to get with Maggie.

Allright, I've been steering clear of this thread because I've been playing catch up on the last few episodes, but as of tonight I'm all caught up.
All I know, is they better get off that damn farm before they all die of boredom. I'm really hoping they can wrap up the season with some big excitement. Bummer about Dale though, didn't see that coming. - Jay

When they went out to look for Dale I said to my son that I thought they would find him layin up dead.
But I thought he might have finally given up on the idea of maintaining decency & humanity & cashed in his chips. I never expected it to go down the way it did.

I saw this coming. But it wasn't how I expected it to go.
Exposure to the virus from the walkers that were in the barn maybe? Looks like the farm is about to be overrun.

D'ya think anyone's gonna be complaining about a lack of zombies after the next episode?
I hate 10:00 Sunday nights because it's the longest I'll have to wait to see a new episode of TWD. It's the opposite of the way I feel when I walk out of a holiday dinner at my sister in law's house.
