Funk fans: where's Alex Weir?

..you know, from the Brothers Johnson and Talking Heads? He's one of the great funk stylists as far as I'm concerned.

Alex Weir - the greatest performer ever!

I couldn't agree with you more! Alex Weir is my favorite guitarist of all time & an amazing rhythm guitar player!! I can barely find anything besides Stop Making Sense and the music video for This Must Be The Place. Not even a basic bio for him anywhere on the internet.
Does anyone know ANYTHING else about him or where/what he's doing now?
I also have his video with Homespun which is fantastic. I know he plays on other albums like Brother's Johnson, etc.
If anyone else reads this and is a fan, feel free to contact me! It seems like no one notices him and I want to discuss...

But thanks for posting. This made me watch again "Stop making sense". Great songs, great band... I had forgotten how creative they were !
