Looks like a NAMM leak here... by about 4 months!!! Some pretty cool offerings too, I'd be tempted by the thinline-P90 combo too, if I didn't already have too many guitars...

Did I just say that?!?!?!?

Marauder ? Has Fender run out of names?

Actually, Fender used it before Gibson did. And Mercury before Fender, but I suspect that's less confusing.

I hate the recycling of names. Back in the 60's/70's a Super Duty was a bad ass Pontiac, now it's just a run of the mill Ford pickup truck.

The same lack of imagination is bringing us way to many remakes of previously successful movies and TV shows.

Apparently they're Chinese made.

Hmm..

Look pretty cool. Nice to see a version of the Marauder to be released, though I don't think it looks as good as the first type Marauder. Pretty cool stuff though, priced reasonably too.

Wow, the price is really low, even for Europe. Must be Chinese. I just hope the p90 pickups are of some quality.

They all seem somehow "strange" or "wrong" to me, at least based on the images. The Marauder is to me by far the most interesting one. Can't wait to see how the bridge pickup sounds. I just wish it had the Jazzmaster tremolo instead of a Strat one...

They're on the Musician's Friend site, though none of the product pages seem to be working just yet. At least for me . . .

I like my Squier and my Chinese-made Ibanez, but I don't care for the idea of a Chinese-made guitar with a Fender decal on it. They should save the Fender name for stuff made in North America, at least.

I like the weirdness of that Marauder, though. A Jazzmaster pup and a three-coil pup? That would fit right in with the Pawn Shop line.

If the quality is at least as a good as a MIM Fender, why not? And what about CIJ?
