I have no connection to this event, other than I will be there, but Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings will be at the Exit Inn Feb 3. This band is a time machine back to 1969, a tight, exciting, dynamic soul band, and Sharon is the perfect singer. Highly Recomended. You can check out some of their product at Grimeys.

Thanks for the tip Andy. I probably won't make it but
will keep the names in mind for the future.

The Rosedale Rhythm Review is another good group
to hear when they are gigging. They have a big
group with 4 horns, B3, etc. and several vocalists.

A big Soul - R&B fan here especially of that era
and style.
