Nobody steal my idea when i ax for help.
Okay dudes and dudettes, I'm planning on opening a Non-profit, pro quality recording studio in my home town aimed at facilitating middle school thru college age bands recording.
I decided all i want to do (in the job world) is music/production, and help others, so this was the only logical answer. Any ideas or tips on finding $25,000 in grants or donations of actual equipment? Should I call Fender? ps DONT LAUGH AT ME!

Hey, I think it's a great idea. Yeah, Fender could be a possible sponsor... but check out Monster Cable. (www.monstercable.com) They just became the "Naming Partner" for Candlestick Park, which is now apparently officially known as "Monster Park." They're obviously branching into new areas to increase visibility, and $25K would be small change after whatever they paid to get their name on the stadium. You'll just need to convince either the Monster folks or their p.r. agency (or both) that sponsoring a non-profit studio is exactly what they ought to be doing right now. ;-) Just a thought. Best of luck, CS :-)
