Just getting an old Peavey Bandit 75 watt amp from the 1980's in great condition. It will be in transit next week.
Alsdo found an '80's Casio Tone Bank keyboard instrument in a thrift shop for under $15...had to snag that, and I will be teaching myself to play it.

just got a few black strat bodies of unknown origin...good prices ie cheap...

one has a foil lined swimming pool rout and has never been drilled for a bridge... new paint,
a good test pilot body for setting up PU/pickguard arrangements.... mid weight though solid wood..no outer veneers..

the other one came with a wilko trem bridge+cover and boat jack , tilt screw in the pocket?, nice, and a heavier body.. swamp ash maybe?...

happy... projects.. mmmmm

Guitar center was running a sale (closeout?) on Danelectro MOD chorus pedal for about $15. Couldn't resist. hell, if it was a piece of crap, I could use the parts and the cool looking purple case for another project. Set me back all of about $21 with shipping, etc. Shipping was surprisingly fast.

And Dang, it's really a great little chorus pedal. I've never owned another to compare it to, but it does everything Ive heard others do, and certainly everything I would need in a chorus pedal. Its got a plastic case, so probably wouldn't hold up too well for a hard road life, but for the home musician, or occasional gigger, I think it would be adequate. So far, in about 44 years in Electricguitarland, it's far and away the best deal I've ever gotten. (Nope, I don't work for Danelectro or Guitar Center)

Sighhhhh. . .. jeez, I wish I could afford the really great gear.

El-cheapo electronic metronome to replace my wind up one that made my ear thump on every beat.

Soon I'll also be the proud owner of a new top hat switch tip to replace the one my kids smashed the other day...

Last thing I bought was a Nocturne Atomic Brain pedal. Not sure that it fits my rig, however.

Whoops, I meant FAB pedal, not MOD. Them 3- letter words confuses me.

Hardwire R7 stereo reverb pedal and a Victoria 35310 3x10" amp. Still waiting for the amp, fingers crossed for tomorrow! Pedal sounds amazing spilt between 2 amps in stereo!

CAR MN Blacktop Tele; and stuff to mod it ;)
- white pearloid pickguard
- chrome dome knobs
- fender 'enforcer' en 'wide range' humbuckers (from a 72 Pawn Shop guit.)
- also doing a 'blend'-mod just like the 72 Pawn Shop
- MAYBE a cutaway wilkinson bridge (vintage tele style) but that would require some drilling, still thinking about that...

I also have a beautiful one-piece pine tele body ready to get a paint job (still thinking about which colour I should spray it in...). It will have a CV50's neck and the Alnico 3 pups. Vintage bridge and the regular switch-vol-tone control plate with dome knobs.
