All Weather Powered Speakers

Is there any such thing? This summer I'd like to get an mp3 player to use out in my yard on a regular basis. But instead of using headphones I want to put it through speakers. I believe I'd need powered speakers, ones that I can leave outside. So far, I've been able to find self-powered indoor speakers and outdoor (non-powered) speakers. Don't they have all-weather powered speakers these days? What do you think is my best option?

Yes, there are some good ones ( and a TON of bad ) out there. I'll check with my son and see what brand he got. His are the best sounding wirless speakers I've heard. He lives at the beach, so he needed a speaker that would take the salt water and rainy conditions of the Seattle area. They look like a big ol' rock, ( but I remember his saying they came in various styles ) so they fit in with the landscape very nicely...but best of all, they sound good. My uncle got a pair that sounded very, very bad. No fidelity and bad distorion with minimum volume. I'll let you know when I find out what brand my son got.

Yes, but are they self powered all weather speakers? I don't care if they are wireless. I'm just looking for self powered all weather.

Advents at Rat Shack! Thanks, ne4tt! Exactly what I've been looking for!
