Daisy Rock Bass - Mini Review
Thought some folks might be interested in this. My wife has a P-Bass that she's plunked on for a while trying to learn to play. She never felt comfortable with it but really loves it. It's just huge on her 5'2" frame. She made a real estate sale recently and was feeling in the $$$....so she asked about Daisy Rock as I told her about them once when she complained about the P-Bass's size.
It arrived a few days ago.....very NICE! Workmanship is excellent - it came perfectly set up and intonated. Finish is excellent - on par with what Fender is doing in Mexico these days. It's a purple burst over mother of pearl top and a semi-transparent black elsewhere. Pickups have punch. Tuners and bridge high quality, nicer finish than other imports I've seen. The body is thinner and neck is significantly smaller yet the scale length is the same as a standard bass. It fits her perfectly. Anyway, for those interested in instruments for kids/women.... highly recommended!! ![]()
