Good grief.
UN-believable. I almost posted something last night when they made history by forcing game 7, but didn't want to jinx it.
I lived in Bahstun twice, once in the summer of '69, and then again in college from '73 to '76. Spent some wonderful afternoons in Fenway Park, where I learned the joy of suffering along with my fellow Bosox fans. But despite the fact they've accomplished something that no team ever has, and done it in such dramatic fashion, I can't shake this nagging feeling that somehow the Sox are Lucy holding the football, and the fans are Charlie Brown. I dunno, we'll see. Maybe sending the damn Yankees home to watch the Series really is the beginning of the end of the curse. I'll keep my fingers crossed. :-) Meanwhile, I found a "fun" site where you can revel in all the gory details of the past: http://www.soxsuck.com Also, is it just me, or does Johnny Damon ![]() really appear to be the long-lost son of Monkee Mickey Dolenz? ![]() ;-) CS |

So now the Sox will either play the Cardinals, who they lost to in 7 games back in 67 and 46.
Or, the team from Massachusetts will face off against a team from Texas. This is getting interesting... |

Even though I'm not a sports fan, I found myself watching the Sox the past few nights. Amazing comeback... and beating the Yankees is all worthwhile.
And Damon and Dolenz! What a riot! I knew he looked familiar but I couldn't put my finger on it...
