Hacienda Brothers at Gruene Hall on the16th

Dave Gonzales front man for the Palidins and Chris Gaffney are making a pass through Texas. Continental Club in Houston on Friday the 16th, Saturday afternoon "FREE" show at Gruene Hall in San Marcos, TX- 5:00 to 9:00, and Continental Club in Austin Monday the 18th.

Dave is a great guitar player and puts on a great show. I saw them at the Contintental Club a while back when Bruce Willis and Ken Roddy sat in on harmonica and vocals for a fund raiser. Lots of fun.

I am really going to try to make that show... I missed Gaffney when he came through with Dave Alvin a couple weeks ago...

I saw 2 Hacienda Brothers shows during SXSW and was VERY impressed... especially the steel player...

I'll prolly wear my black TDPRI shirt under a western shirt... and there's a few pics of me on my bands website... if you see me, come say HI!

Picture of Dave's New Axe

Dave Gonzales was playing his new Gold Sparkle Tele as well as a Danalectro with some bodacious Twang. I got some great pictures at Gruene Hall but I had to post a rather large picture since PhotoBucket is not taking any new Free subscribers until they get through a server upgrade or something. I have a dial-up connection and this picture took a couple of minutes to post. You should be able to download it for a look in less than that. Warning it's big. Go to
