Advice needed: How to handle a EBay thingy...
Although I don't use EBay very often, I've got a few auctions going on right now.
One of them got a bid last night from someone with -1 feed back. Overall 5 transactions, with 3 of them being negative, due to no response after being the winning bid. One comment from a seller said something like "NON PAYING BIDDER/ WATCH OUT!!!!/NEEDS TO PAY ATTENTION TO AUCTIONS" My auction ends on Sunday night, and I know that this guy's current bid will not last, but I don't want him screwing up the process on the last day either. What to do?

Go one step further!..
.....you can BLOCK future bids from him! I can't recall exactly where you go, probably into seller tools, but definitely block him, cuz he'll end up your high bidder (Murphy's Law) and you'll never hear from him.
Frigging idiots, what's wrong with these people who do this?? -Eric

I forgot to say that I emailed him yesterday, just after he bid. I asked for him to confirm his intention to purchase my item. It's not been 24 hours yet, but I haven't got a response.
But I just canceled his bid anyway, and the current bid-canceling-process also blocks him from future bidding on that item. Thanks for the quick responses guys!

In the future...
Something new with Ebay: You can now set up your Ebay account so you will never let anyone with less than a "0" feedback (-1 or less) be able to bid on your auctions. This way, you don't have to police all your bidders and go cancel bids. You also have the option of setting a filter to block any bidders that have two or more non-paying bidder "strikes" in the last month from bidding.
