Playing At Wedding
Saturday I get to play at a wedding, I won't be playing my Tele but will be playing my Takamine, BTW, I will just be playing, my buddy will be singing. What makes this special is this is one of my girl's wedding. Strange, when she lived with me and my wife, she hated me to play the guitar but now she wanted me to play at her wedding. Really don't know if I can play in a Tux, guess I will find out Saturday, pics to come, maybe.

Have a great time. I played at my daughter's wedding too, funny how things change when the playing is for free !!
Seriously, have a really good time and make your daughter even more proud of you than she obviously is already.

My daughter was married last weekend.
My band played for part of it. We backed up the groom's dad vocal group for several Doowop tunes and there was canned music for part of it. I'm biased but I figure I played at the best wedding I've ever been to : I was able to play with my loved buddies and dance with my loved ones. The floor was packed and everyone partied hard.
I remember playing a wedding gig in 1973 and remarking to a band member that I will probably have to play at my own kids wedding. It was a safe prediction. I'm still smiling and still gigging. Congrats by the way.
