What do you shower with?

my sister claims that I am old-fashioned because I only use plain Marseilles soap when I shower!
she told me that using a shower gel is better!
she claims that soap kills your skin and dries it up.
I never had a problem and I am a 2 showers a day man!

so what do you wash with?

I can't stand shower gels, they feel "sticky" give me good old plain soap anyday!

Plain old soap

yeah, my wife says all that about shower gels, too. But I don't listen. I'll wash my hair, brush my teeth with it, I don't care. She thinks I'm cheap and crazy, maybe I am. I'm still using that same old Telecaster I bought 20 years ago...

Lever 2000. And since I cut off all my hair, I saved a dollar a month on a bottle of shampoo, too!

That is perhaps the most personal questions I've seen here..

Maybe Tony B. is right. Nevertheless, I use plain ol' Ivory bar soap.

Irish spring sport, or anything that washes off clean and dries my skin out, and head and shoulders shampoo... no dandruff I just like it. Shower gels I tried always felt like they left a film and/or smelled, I'll use dawn before I use my wifes oil of olay, that stuff is film city... and aren't you supposed to use gel with one of those puffy things ?? that's just not right, even if your by yourself 8).

Love the diversity of subjects in this forum!

I'm a one-shower-a-day cat, Nick. Use Dial Soap and Paul Mitchell Shampoo.

However, to preserve the youthful look of my face - or, at least, make myself think I'm preserving it - I use a combination of Clinique men's skin care products post-shower. (My wife assures me they're the same as Clinique's products for women, but with less frilly packaging.)

Oh ya and the shower thing

I'm a once a day twice on gig days with Zest. For hair care (I do got a bunch of it) I use whatever Barbara brings home to me. She manages a wholesale Barber/Salon Supply House, I guess I get whatever is being discontinued.

I use whatever's cheap from the Dollar Store. Usually Ivory, or reasonable facsimile, or Coast. Same with hair care products - I get the cheapest I can find.

I'm still sportin' my Rory Gallagher/Jimmy Page do from the early 70's, and can't bring myself to cut it. I've been real tempted to do a Joel Terry and shave it ALL off. At 43, I still have all of my hair, and no sign of it thinning, but it's turning white fast!

Mr. Fuzzy, would you like to explain to the rest of the class what you're doing with pics of Joel in the shower?!? On second though nevermind - we don't wanna know!
