Anyone else with PayPal curse?

The "glitch" they've had since last Thursday is
keeping me from using the service. You get about
half way through a transaction then an error message
pops up.

Guess I'll have to use another method to get my
winning entry into the TDPRI fundraiser.

I had that problem all day yesterday. I just tried it now and managed to get through. It has been having problems though.

Hmmmm

I used Paypal twice today, 2nd time the confirmation email never came. I tried logging in but www.paypal.com won't even come up. I wonder if they got hit with a virus?

I have a friend who works there, I'll see what I can find out.

EDIT: UPDATE

They had a push of new code and it's having trouble dealing with heavy loads. No resolution yet, my friend guesses it may be a couple days.

I sent my entry in this morning with no confirmation, and I've been having trouble logging in for a few days as well.

PITA, I tell you. I have a few payments pending from ebay too. Hopefully the buyers will be understanding.

It's been up and down all day today and started pretty much yesterday with their "NEW" Website Design.

My friend who works there as a java developer, said they've been pulling all-nighters since Thursday and that it's a huge mess.
