AARRRGGHHH!! What am I doing wrong?

I'm trying to upload a pic of my amp on Garage Sale. I've compressed my picture file. Maybe it still isn't small enough? When I compressed the file it didn't tell me the resultant size. Then when I click browse and choose my pic file to upload, then click upload, I get "cannot find server". I even disabled my firewall to see if that's the problem, to no avail. I'm running Windows XP. Anyone have any suggestions? :?

Lonewolf2,

Yeah, I think that's what I'm going to have to do. I'm having a (big) problem downsizing my pics on the computer (I know it's my own ignorance) so I will take new pics and see if I can regulate the size with the camera. I'm still stumped by the "cannot find server" response though. Thanks for the suggestion and answering my post. 8)

Hope I am not showing my ignorance and misleading you here, but I THINK you have to download your pics on some host site, then link to that in your posts (and possibly ads) here. If I am mistaken, perhaps some more knowledgeable TDPer will lend a hand.

You can do that Frank, but you can actually upload pictures into the Garage Sale as well so you dont need to find a host.

Does anyone know the file size limit for the garage sale? I suggest you find that out and then right click on the file, go to properties and make sure it is small enough.

Also, what is the file type of the photo you're trying?
