"The Twangler"...he's a mad man

The only other people who even know of Webb are also Gatton fans! It came from Nashville is also in my top 10...along with Doo Dad! Have they made a bad record?
I THINK NOT

Our drummer introduced me to Webb many years ago. He bestowed that credo of Webb's to each of my daughter's with a magnet picture of Webb and the the creed written in, one Christmas a while back. They all are following it to this day!! I have seen the short movie but not the other two. I'll have to check with my buddy I would probably bet he has them.

I just got my copy of Town And Country last week. Pretty cool selections of covers! I got the chance to communicate with Webb late last year when I purchased a Tele body from him- great, great guy!!! At the time, he was hosting a radio show- is he still at it? I'd encourage anyone to check out his recordings and watch his website, as he (and band) still makes appearances occasionally.

Webb and XM Radio

"Last of the full grown men..." Webb rocks! He is a DJ on the Alt.Country channel for XM satellite radio and does a great job. I remember seeing one of his short films years ago and it had a musical number that stuck with me that I would love to own. I believe the song was called: "If you don't think Elvis is #1 than you're full of #2".

At least one of those detective movies was in paperback form also.
He appeared also in a movie with Johnny Paycheck, Porter Wagoner
others called "Heroes of the Heart". It's about some flood victims
struggling to survive in a trailer park that are visited by an angel.

I dind't know about his Alt Radio XM radio gig.

Far as I know he still lives in the Nashville area.
I like his music. I'll have to try and see his movies.

Count me in. I like his stuff, but I haven't gone out and bought anything. Where would be a good place to start?

I'm a Webb Wilder fan who's NOT a Gatton fan. Webb is indeed, the Last of the Full Grown Men.
