C'mon people, we need 500 posts in this one thread in order to get the first green light to blink that will have ever blinked on this message board!

All you need to do is post you're full name and the guitar you could own if you could own ANY!

To start you off:

Name:James Alexander Cawood

Guitar: An original Gibson 1958 Korina Explorer

We only have to get this thread to over 350 posts till it beats the longest running thread!
I'm not gonna read this whole thread just to figure out if someone already said this, but bottom line: typing in any personal info including your full name on a public website is a bad idea... word to the wise.

'67 Epi Coronet in "Silver Fox" limed green. Same utilitarian vibe as a tele.

Any guitar I could own? There are way too many choices, but having said that if I were to own a famous guitar Keef's Micawber or Springsteen's Esquire would be a real hoot.

On the slightly more practical side, an original Broadcaster, a '54 Strat, or a '54(ish) Telecaster.

Howdy Folks,
First time on here... loads of useful info. Very cool. Will be back. A lot.

Been playing guitar since I was six. Am 38 now. Jeez... where'd the time go?

The family:

1982 Smith Strat (Had it over twenty five years!)
2001 MIM Tele - new US rosewood neck - currently upgrading hardware...
1972 Gibson ES 335 TD
1997 Guild F50

Cheers!!

A.

Trag, Trag, Trag... When are you going to learn? Great prophets don't ASK, they DEMAND sacrifices. You have to say somthing like:

"Hear ye, hear ye: In this, the 2004th year of the Great Green Moose, the The Great Green Quotation Pyramid has spoken to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let it be known to all peoples of all the black hole settlements, that from this day forward, all Champs shall be brought forth to the Prophet Trag-o-caster, so that they might be sacrificed to appease the restless spirits of the great grand-mooses (meeses? moosi?) of civilizations past.

Those of you who choose not to comply shall be smote down with heavily force, and every son of every father for 15 generations will be sucked into the green abyss of the green black hole, FOREVER.

THE PYRAMID HAS SPOKEN!!!!!!"

Yeah, like that Trag.

I dug this up to show how carried away we were getting on about page 18. I actually went back and read some of this stuff last night - HILARIOUS!

I thought we had one of the longest threads on the internet. Wrong! There's one that started in 2000 and is over 770,000 replies long. That's a lot of green lights. Bugs me ...
