I got her a ring and she got me this!

My engagement present from my girlfriend--Gibson Hummingbird Artist. I'm very excited about the engagement and the guitar. It's my first acoustic.

She gets two thumbs up from ol' Jakedog!! So do you for finding her! Sounds like the gal I've been married to for thirteen years... Maybe I should go find her and give her a smooch! Mine I mean, not yours. Cause that would just be awkward...

I hope you two are as happy together as I am with my lady. She can't afford a nice guitar but she is cool with me slippin' off to enjoy the ones I have.
Congrats! Count your blessings...

Twenty five years ago (our first year together) my wife gave me my favorite guitar; a Martin D18V. Both have aged very nicely.
Here's to your marriage reaching the vintage stage!

My wife gave me a Taylor 814CE. I'm delighted and blessed to have both of 'em. Richest blessings on your relationship and marriage.

Her gift is pretty maintenance-free but she'll be pissed if you don't humidify yours...

Aren't those guitars for people who don't know the words?

Hello...? Is this thing on...??

Seriously, you got you a good one there! (The fiancee, I mean.) It took my wife ten years before she started buying me guitars. But she never complained if I bought them, so I'm OK with it.

I was half expecting a picture of a baby.

Well... enjoy the guitar now (and the lady, too)... after the baby arrives the priorities may be adjusted a bit.
