Mandolin search

I'm in COlumbia MD for the holidays and I was wanting to know where I could go to get a mandlin in the area?

It's a last minute CHristmas present, and I have no clue where anything is up here.

Help!!!

I would do a search for Appalachian Bluegrass in Catonsville MD...they have a website and directions, and is not to bad a drive from where you are.

Half an hour away in Takoma Park is this place:

http://www.hmtrad.com/

Not sure about their priciing. You may want to compare with a place like Elderly just to see if HMT's prices are in line.

Yep, Appalachian up in Catonsville. Good people to deal with and a wide selection of mandos in a wide price range. Easy to get to. Right off the beltway.
While you're there, take some time to do some picking. They usually have some very sweet guitars on the floor. We're talking Collings, Huss and Dalton, good stuff.

Edited to correct location as to not confuse people...
