The Trunk Monkey commercials are my favorite, but are not that recent.

I like the "real men of genius" commercials. The latest one I heard (radio) was Mr. stadium proposal guy.

The other Levi's commercial "America", is the one with the Walt Whitman recording. It was a cylinder recording made in 1889.
I don't think "O'Pioneers" is Whitman, at least it doesn't sound like the same voice or reading style as "America".

Here is an MP3 of the "America" original recording.

I just found the info on the Pioneers comercial:
Agency: Wieden + Kennedy, Portland

Copywriters/Art Directors: W+K Five
Agency Producer: Hayley Goggin
Agency Associate Producer Juliana Montgomery

Production Company: Directors Bureau
Director: M. Blash
Executive Producer: Cayce Chambers Cole
Line Producer: Ike Martin
DP: Kasper Tuxen
Editorial: Joint Editorial
Editor: Peter Wiedensmith
Sound Credits:
Sound: Pioneers! O Pioneers! poem by Walt Whitman courtesy Smithsonian Folkways Recordings performed by: The University Players. Voiceover Will Greer
Music + Sound Company: Peter Wiedensmith and Blue Scout Music
Music Composers: Joey Prather + Brian Hall
Sound Designers: Peter Wiedensmith, Joey Prather + Brian Hall
Song: Swift! To the Head of the Army
Publishers/Record
Company: Joey Prather

So that was "Grandpa Walton" reading the Whitman poem on the Pioneers commercial.
