I hope everyone understood that I meant the coincidence that the CDs came out at almost the exact same time ... from contestants who came in second in the latest national talent shows and each posed with both palms placed upon their cheeks. That's all.

I dunno. They both reflect the personalities and music of the singers, and both appeal to the demographic groups they are likely to sell to. She's seen as the "ugly duckling" who has, through talent and perseverance, turned into a swan. Lambert has great natural talent (not really my kind of music) who, from other accounts, has a high degree of self-awareness regarding his public persona. Graphic design is a battle for the mind, heart and dollar of the consumer. They are similar in certain ways, but I think they do what they need to do.
