You can't beat good friends in life!

I've no family left on this side of the Atlantic, but darn it all, if my friends didn't come by side in times of need, I don't know where'd I'd be.

Be grateful for what you have people.

An early Thanksgiving thought!

You're right Eric. And that's exactly why you should NEVER beat a good friend.

I have a huge group of friends here in Bakersfield that help me.

Without them I wouldnt be alive.

All my friends locally are long time friends too the newest friend I have I met in 1997 and the oldest in 1972.

Being blind I require rides everywhere and I can call up a friend and they will be here in 10 mins ready to take me anywhere I wanna go without question and they never ask for gas $$ or anything in return.

Yup, old friends are a blessing. My best buddy in my town is my drummer, I'm his bass player. We make a decent rhythm section.

I am incredibly fortunate to have long-time loyal friends who are 100% faithful and reliable. In addition, my family provides love and support beyond anything I could wish for.

How could I ask for more than that in this life?

Happy Thanksgiving to all!
