I saw E Winter a few times in SF back then, with Ronnie Montrose on guitar - not little Rick D. They tore the place up!

Tight as a drum. I bet rehersals were fun - "Sorry lads, I played a duff note in the middle 8, can we go again?"

The keyboard break after the drum solo reminds me of hazy Saturday afternoons listening to Alan "Fluff" Freeman on BBC radio. Happy days...
