Gonna go see Iggy Pop tomorrow!

I'm going to see the living legend, the Original Punk, FINALLY!!! Well, OK; not performing music, but flogging his book, hee hee!!

Miami Book Fair

Heads up to any of you SoFla TDPRIers with even a passing interest in books at all... I took the family to this thing last year and we had a great time; there's something for everyone. Tons of author sessions with both the serious and less serious writers, the Comix Galaxy including a kids Comic Con, stuff for little kiddies, entertainment, food, even an educators forum on graphic novels in a school setting. And the street fair has the best area book stores showing their wares.

Besides Ig, I might run into Richard Belzer, or Al Gore, or Edna Buchanan, or Roy Blount Jr., or Mike Farrell, or Tom Hayden, or Ralph Nader, or Isabella Rossellini, or ........

I saw Iggy perform in a basement commons at UWM about 15 years ago. The energy was amazing. He moved and sang like a madman. It was one of the best shows that I ever saw.

Get an autograph!

Jom Osterburg is an articulate guy.

He had a Prep school education and was president of his lass

His father worked at the school

You'd think that, but when I saw him back in 1997, he was old enough to be the father of many of the young girls/ladies in the front rows trying to get, or who did get, a kiss from him...

This pic of Iggy goes with this story cause he was in such good shape Rollins tried to out do Iggy.

Watch all 3 parts this is great.

There is just a little rough language Rollins drops the F bomb a few times nothing drastic.

This is a great story! hahaha
