Funny that they seem more concerned about the cost of the alcohol rather than the fact that their 13yr old was drinking!

Well . . . I've had the odd bottle (or hundred) of shampoo but I've never had to use a corkscrew yet to open one - so why does this sound fishy?

No corkscrew for champagne

You just pop the cork. I think the whole thing is pretty funny and clever. A bit ignorant with some detail, but nonetheless makes a point. I agree with the above post, more concerned with the loss of the booze than a 13 year old drinking it.

Yep, if he can get a corkscrew into a Dom cork he is a very strong 13 year old. They are pretty darn solid.

Thats a bit harsh, if that was me I'd just be angered and misbehave a lot more! Spare the cane and spoil the child!

I think the kid's been drinking too much milk with BGH...

13 years old and 6"3"! What is going on? As far as the drinking goes, that's par for the course. It's mom's house and her rules. I did the same when I was his age and eventually paid the price with the parents. I'd personally tell him, "Hey, you want to be a man and drink? Okay, go get a job, and yes throw your toys out, grown ups don't play with toys." We all know the truth though, the TDPRI is were it's nothing but toys 24/7- 365!

Mom doesn't need to worry about the monetary value

What the weekend cost her was nothing compared to what the kid will be paying therapists for years... ;-) CS
