Show me your brown shell/baltic amber pickguards!

Hey guys, I'm waiting on receiving a brown shell (not brown tortoise) pickguard that I ordered from Warmoth for my white blonde Tele and I thought in the meantime it would be cool to see a few other guitars with the same kind of pickguard material (like this):

Thanks!

Will do. Albeit this is a Dingwall bass and my Tele is white blonde, this picture is what motivated me to get one:

I don't like pearloid too much, but I do like that. Stephen has really got it nailed on those two.

I like the Dingwall also (never heard of them, I don't think?).

Brown shell is one of the lesser used stock colors, I like it a lot (obviously). Goes best with solid colors (to my eye).

Should look great on your white tele, voided3.

Yeah I hope so. I'll just have to be patient as the tracking number says I won't get it until the Tuesday the 17th. I mocked this up on Kisekae though:

My Tele has a Hipshot B-bender on it, however. Otherwise, that's more or less what it looks like, except the pattern on the pickguard will obviously not be that huge (mooched it from a picture).

It came today and it fits nicely. It's a slightly lighter shade than I was expecting (more amber than brown as the name would suggest) but I like how it looks. I custom ordered it as a five hole, too, which I prefer to the eight hole guard that was on the guitar before. Anyway, here it is:

All things considered, it's a very unique guitar. Good work.

$28 + shipping from Warmoth. You can spec one out on their site to get a quote for what you want.
