Somebody made fun of me this morning:
As I was riding my bike to work this morning a guy was standing on the side walk smoking a cig with another guy. I didn't know him but he says "Hey Fatboy!".
I was kinda puzzled so I sez "What's up?" He says my name and also sez "What's up?". He should talk. He was fatter than I am! Plus he almost had no hair.

These things happen sometimes... I was on the road with a bar band, when I was eighteen years old. I was a good 1500 miles from where I had lived for almost my entire life up to that point. I went into Burger King to get a late dinner, and they screwed up my order. When I went back to the counter to complain about it, the guy got beligerent, so I started to let him have it (verbally). This manager gal walks outta the back, calls me by name, and proceeds to make it all better for me. All the while she's talking to me like she's known me her whole life. Name tag says "Jennifer", doesn't ring a bell. She even grabbed a soda, came out from behind the counter, and talked to me while I was sitting eating my dinner. I was too embarrassed to ask her who the hell she was. I swear I had never seen her before in my life. To this day, I have no clue who she was or how she knew me.

Maybe you should have gotten your name tattooed on your forehead.
kidding. I haven't had that happen to me, but I did have it happen to my dog. Let me 'splain. Chester was my boy. Had him 15 years before he was (ugh) hit by a motorcycle just over three years ago. He liked to roam the neighborhood at my parent's house (I'm come home from college for a random weekend or break and stay there). Anyway, I was out front, playing with him, and this kid on a bike rolls by and yells "HEY CHESTER!!!" I had never seen the kid before in my life. My mother had never seen him. Chester didn't wear a tag with his name on it. No ID. How on earth did the kid know his name?!?!! I always swore Chester could talk, but up until that point that was sorta tongue-in-cheek. Now I wonder!

"Hey Fatboy"...must be the new slang greeting used by the youthful to convey a term of endearment. Like "Hey stupid"...I hear that one alot. I never imagined there could be more to it then that.
