Songs That Drive The Gal's Crazy - Let's Name Em'!

I learned most of Rick Springfields " Jesse's Girl " this weekend. My wife loves the song, so I thought it would be cool to play it for her. Even now, that song is like female crack. What songs do you think that chicks go crazy for?

P.S. I actually like the song and Rick Springfield. Fun to play also ( for a hack like me ).

ANYTHING by Jerry Lee Lewis. Especially if it was recorded between 1967 and 1982.

"Crazy" — never fails to pack the dance floor on a ladies' choice.

al green's "let's stay together" and marvin gaye's "sexual healing"

mind you, bands of the world, I am of the opinion that these songs are almost NEVER covered well (however I do play "stay together" instrumentally in my set, and the ladies still love it)

There are songs that girls like, and there are songs that put girls 'in the mood.'

Some of the latter are ANYTHING by Al Green.
'Bang a Gong' by T-Rex, and 'It's Only Rock n Roll' by the Stones. Pure total sex grooves!

Palm muting a Tele is like petting a porcupine for a hack guitarist like myself.

"Honky Tonk Woman"
"Kiss" by Prince

I have literally seen women jump up from their chairs, go "WHOOOOOOOO!!!!" and RUN onto the dance floor when these are played.

When I saw the subject line I first thought you meant crazy-annoyed. With my wife, I was going to suggest anything by Tom Waits, but the fact that I sing along in my best/worst Tom Waits voice may be the real reason.

Pretty much any song off " Hysteria." I went to see them in Denver in 1987 ( I think ). The hot chick to dude ratio was off the scales. I have never been to a concert before of after that where the women were so crazy for a band. I am not talking like David Cassidy crazy, more like I will do anything to get backstage crazy.

It may be different in the UK .. it often is .. ;)

Depends on age, but if you want to see the ... errr .. more experienced ladies strut with abandon, its always Mustang Sally, or Brown Eyed Girl.
They work everytime. All the time.
It's the law.

Or anything by ABBA, or most 70's Disco Diva stuff.

Some Stones will often do the trick , thankfully.
Stereophonics get the girls going here too.
Ladies of nearly all ages lust after the singer ( I chatted to him for a while once .. no tips, no offer of surplus ladies - what a damn cad ;) )

Generally .. avoid The Smiths ;)

The younger young ladies? .. well I'm jiggered if I know anymore ;)

I remember seeing a feature/documentary (a rockumentary surely? !) on Def Leppard, and they were openly marveling at the wholly relentless stream of offers they got, and that how often that Mother and Daughter would come to the gig together, and ... errr .. try for 'backstage pass' together too.

Honest hard-working Yorkshire lads - not sure I liked their stuff much, but cant blame 'em for enjoying the fruit of their labours eh? ;)

Most women still go crazy over Stairway but I really can't play that song anymore.

They threw me out of GC a long time ago.
