Question for those of you with guitars with TOM bridges
Have you ever tried wrapping the strings around the top of the tailpiece to change the string angle over the saddles of the bridge?

I've heard of people doing that, but I haven't done it.I'd worry that too shallow a break angle could cause strings to jump off the saddle,a la vintage and AVRI Jazzmasters.
If you have too much break angle, raising the tailpiece might help.So would a TP-6. |

I did that with my Les paul Studio and don't have a problem with strings jumping off the saddle.I was able to lower the end cap to the body.I cant tell any difference in tone.
