I would say that he's as good as gone, but I've been saying that about him for a while. I wouldn't have expected we would even be discussing him this season...at least not at ND.

Unless ND melts down the rest of the season, The Hutt (apologies to all Hutts too) isn't going anywhere. ND has too much money invested in him. I think he's the most over rated coach in the game. The guy really needs to watch what he eats too. The coach should be setting an example for his players.

No talk on the local news yet. My local TV stations are out of South Bend. I live about 20 minutes from campus. There was more talk of him losing his job at the end of last year than this year. But honestly how can you even think about beating Michigan and USC if you can't win over Navy???? Still in the hunt for a Bowl even if its not BCS.

Jimmy Clausen was this brash punk with an ego when he came to ND but now looks like a good QB, hope his senior year next year doesn't get derailed with a coach firing. If that happens he will most likely go pro and have a lower draft status.

They need one more game to be BCS eligable and with 3 good games left (Pitt,U Conn,Stanford) they need to win them all.

Actually I think I'd rather be in line behind him. If you're in front of him, you can't see him coming and he may sneak up and eat you.
