I put up a few old motorcycle magazines on ebay, listing specifically where I would ship to. The winning bidder is in a country I hadn't listed, but, fine I will ship them. I did send him an email saying I wouldn't be responsible for any problems, he replied in broken English that is fine, but still hasn't paid. How long do I wait before I start getting ebay after him for payment, or can I just cancel because he isn't in a country I was willing to ship to? Can't find the answers in the ebay maze.

I think you have the right to hold off until payment is authorized. I'm not sure though.

Keep in mind that this person may have been searching for this stuff way before you posted your auction. Just like any of us Tele-fans looking for items pertaining to our hobby/lifestyle. Try to do what's right, as much as possible.

No Pay...No Play.
You do have the right to refuse shipping to any place you choose.
Wait 10 days...then file a claim.
If they still don't pay.
Forget it and move on.

IME, just report him as a non-payer. He shouldn't have been bidding anyway.
Make a second chance offer to the next highest bidder (if applicable) or just relist the item.
You probably will never hear from him again anyway.

I got a good one.....

I bought my FIRST Tele today....a 72 Reissue in walnut. I paid the guy, he accepted...then the payment was "reversed" by Paypal. No real reason. Worst of all, the money has YET to make it's way back to my bank account....where has it gone? NOBODY KNOWS!

I had a seller refund my money on a transaction about a month ago for some unknown reason. It took 4 days before the money was posted back to my bank account.
