Looking for a recording of this song, not the more recent one by Missy somebody or other. Has to be from the 50s or earlier, but who knows.

"And the pony has a pair of shoes..." is one of the lyrics. I have a mono microphone copy that I transferred to mp3 but it is really bad copy and has lots and lots of noise as well as kids singing and clapping in the background.

Myriad of internet searches have turned up nothing.

looks like this is Percy Faith, or at least the recording I have bits and pieces of is. Just in case anyone cares ...
