Terry Downs that is..... I ordered your "Fundamental Soldering Skills" Instructional Video DVD hoping to find something I did not already know about soldering guitars. I have been "messing" with electric guitars since I was a teenager who knew everything about everything so my hopes were not really too high. I was delighted to find the DVD full of facts, tricks, and time saving tips, any single one of which would make the DVD worth the price.
Folks, I highly recommend this DVD to any and all of you, even if you have been "doing it" for over fourty years like me. There's something in there for everyone.
Thanks Terry for a fine product from a fellow tele lover.

Gosh thanks Rob. I'm glad you got something out of it. It's important to understand the physics of what is going on with the soldering process. Some of that came from some NASA level training I had about 30 years ago.

+1 on the video. Got it about a year ago and found it to be incredibly useful even for someone, like me, who is not mechanically or technically inclined at all. If you like experimenting with different pickups getting this video will save you a good deal of money in the future.

Yup. I've been soldering all my life...

Terry got me doing it correctly.... I love my DVD...

I have vowed anything Terry makes and sells, I buy. I like to be surrounded by quality things.

My goodness. You folks are too kind.

The impetus for the soldering video was from a kid that brought a guitar for me to change the volume pot again. He had replaced it himself and got so much solder down INSIDE the pot that it wouldn't rotate.
