A couple of very unusual ES-295's!!!
I won't vouch for the presenter or the quality of the presentation (actually the guy has alot of good, positive energy) but the guitars are very cool. I've never seen either of this style of 295 before but I'd happily own either or both of them.

That's the most restrained that I've ever seen this guy, probably because he was sitting down. I was also impressed that he actually played each guitar for a few seconds clean.
I'm sure he's a great player and gets to demo some awesome vintage guitars, but he ruins it for me by stomping on his distortion pedal and dirties up his tone. I want to hear how these things sound clean, not through a pedal... Cool guitars, thanks for posting! |

The ES-295 didn't really differ that much from an ES-175, both guitars were made using the same bodies and necks, they differed in the ES-295 having the gold finish, white pickups and the wrap around tail, but otherwise they were basically the same guitar.

I named the wrap around tail of the ES 295 as one of the differences it has from the ES 175, you need some sleep sir.

Beautiful guitars. I'd love to play, let alone own, either one of them.
Phil X is a riot. Good player too. I also would sometimes like to see some of the guitars demoed a little more, um, traditionally, but he's always good for a laugh or two. |

I'm Confused
In the "Drug" clip he says he did pot in high school one time and then 10 seconds later says he's never done drugs in his life!!?? Isn't that like kinda being pregnant? (FYI.....I had no idea that the stoner FX of pot could last upwards of 15 years!!!
