The ABC TV show "V"

I think I am in love!

She can visit my planet any time!

The bits and pieces of "V" that I caught tonight lead me to think it is much better done than the series from the 80s.

I'm looking forward to seeing it. I'm recording it because I can't watch it tonight. I'll watch it sometime this weekend.

She doesn't do a whole lot for me but the show looks pretty cool.

I liked the story of the old version, but the show was cheesy.

I watched the new one tonight and liked what I saw.

I liked it. I hope it stays as interesting in future shows. It kinda reminds me of Jericho...but after a few episodes of Jericho, it got confusing to me.

To each his own I guess, but have you checked your pulse lately?

I remember her from this old show...

Jericho had so much potential.

It just took a turn and went weird.

I remember watching it in the mid-80s...I don't really need to see it again.

What's next? Are they going to bring back I Married Dora? The Greatest American Hero? Hardcastle & McCormick? Small Wonder wasn't crappy enough the first time around, they really need to bring that one back soon!

The old show was incredibly cheesy with very bad writing and acting. This one looks promising. but it is full of the same "suspend belief" requirement. C'mon - - with proof they are reptilians dontcha think the Government and military would be all over it? The new show would have us believe the Govt. got co-opted or neutralized in a couple days. All Govt.s - - does not make any sense.
Worth watching if you can get around that. these reptiles look really good.

I thought the first episode was cool ... very well done.

A lot of material was covered in a very short time.

And though I'm not crazy about the very short haircut, I agree that Morena Baccarin {link} can visit my planet too any time she wants.

I thinks she is stunning. Both her and the girl who played Juliet Burke on LOST have the most amazing eyes. I would turn to mush if I looked into those eyes long enough.

I watched.

I DVR'd.

The special effects were much better than the plot ( I thought) but will continue to watch.

I enjoy Dr Who and Torcheood and all the Sci Fi stuff.

Gotta dig the space hotties.

I watched start to finish tonight.

Sure, there are some clunky ideas.

Overall not too bad.

I'll give it a watch next week.

Main character (lady cop) has proof of the Vs intent but not sure what they want. The V's are intercepting all 911 calls. She tells her boss (who may be a V???). Her son is in love with the young V girl, but she is playing him. The cop woman has an allie in the priest (who delivered the package to the resistance) The reluctant V is getting threats and is in love with a human who doesn't know he is a V. Floating balls (orbs??? ha!) can destroy anyone with flying knives, but the cop woman can hit it with a bat and destroy it...huh?

Whew. It's getting complicated.

I think I am in for the long run.

The Whack-an-Orb scene was a bit odd.

But then...it is fiction...I guess they can have whatever they want to happen happen happen.

Emu's synopsis above of the second episode was dead on. Plus one extra part – the news guy is pushing back against Anna.

One other thing re: the second episode... there was a bunch more commercials~ 4min. of show, 4 min. of commercials for most of it. Just sayin'. Was noticed [and complained about loudly] on another forum I frequent. Anyhoo, fair warning for y'all. TiVo it if the commercials bug ya.

Me, I didn't notice cuz I was cleaning up the kitchen on the commercial breaks So far, I'm into it, though I'm having a hard time figuring how an alliance of resistance types will form, since nobody trusts nobody at this point. I guess that just keeps us guessing!

I hate when they run weekly shows like this. I missed ep2.

In 10 or 20 years they'll have a weekend "V Marathon" and play all the episodes back to back on TV. That's how I finally saw Twin Peaks.

The third episode, this week, was pretty good.

Some good tension at times.

A little V T n' A (in underwear).

(I knew the assination plot was a plant. That one was easy.)

I made the guys take a pause during band practice so I could run in and catch the scene where Logan is caught shirtless by his mom. They teased me about it for the rest of the night. *sigh*
