Guitar Identification Help Needed Please (Nylon String Content)

I was recantly given a 40+ year old Nylon string off my Nan which she got off a friend in trade for a matress! I am no classical guitar expert and have no knowledge off brands and can't find anything help about it on the internet. I was hoping some good folk round here could help me with the exact age, information about it, and the value.

All I know is that it's at least 40 years old, has been hardly played, and the person who bought it paid a fair amount of money for it. The label inside says "Bespana Made in Spain" and the white one says "Admira Fabricado En Espana"

Any help would be really aprpeciated, here are some pics:

If I had to guess I would say it was a flamenco guitar because of the picture of the flamenco dancer. The master spanish makers would have signed the label if it was made by any of them. Post this at Delcamps classical guitar forum to get much better info.

This is a very low end student model
The dancer on the label is just kitsch
It has no meaning apart from the romantic association
I have seen the Admira brand from time to time
I doubt its 40 years old
The glue I see on the transverse brace leads me to believe its more like 20 years old at most.
This is not a wind fall
Play it in good health !

bw

the wood looks good quarter sawn neck from looking at the head clean guitar tuners and nut look good please get some new strings and tie them nice
overall i like it even if it is considered a entry level model and the age is in question

hey a little stray glue- it was late friday and the luthier had a date lined up with a cute spanish dancer
most learner type guitars here are from the far east and a spainish made classical starts about $400

Thanks, shame it's not worth anything! Oh well. It sounds pretty good to my inexperienced nylon strings ears, but I play Jazz chord melody stuff on it with a pic. If it had position markers and not such a huge neck (this makes a big V feel tiny!) I'd like to use it in my Jazz duo. Well, it's given me "GAS" for a good nylon to use for Jazz at least!

One thing I learned from my classical teacher years ago is that you can use "liquid paper" correction fluid to paint fret markers on the guitar (not on the fretboard but on the top of the neck as you look down). Been doing that for years.

Me too! And I thought I was original...

Charlie Byrd uses a small piece of masking tape (a triangle half the size of your pinkie fingernail) at the 7th fret.

About the guitar in question: not sure how valuable it is but more importantly is how it sounds to you. Even low end acoustics can age well and sound nice after a couple of decades, and Spanish made guitars are generally well thought of. That said, that sticker sure is kitschy as Al Watsky said! In fact his assessment is probably spot on.

Nylon sounds great with Jazz, enjoy! You have a one of a kind!
