In the 60's my friend and I did a lot of New Lost City Ramblers style stuff .Lots of flat picking and vocal harmony .I played the Banjo breaks on my guitar as well .It was well received usually .We also did some early Elvis , without impersonating him ,or directly copying his style .That always pissed off the folkies .
