Some nice fiddling from Merle!

Here's Merle kicking off the old Bob Wills song "Old Fashioned Love". Nice intonation on the unisons, nice vibrato, etc. I had no idea that Merle was such a good fiddle player!

Merle is also a really good lead guitar player too.

His voice of course is awesome but he can hold his own with anyone on stage doing anything thats in his style.

Merle loves Bob Wills.

Wow, the younger jazzy fiddler with the mustache is a friend of mine, Paul Anastasio. I knew he worked some with Merle and Asleep at the Wheel. Great to see video of him. He spends lots of time transcribing music from some intricate fiddlers from southern Mexico these days. Amazingly obsessed guy.

I think that is also one of Bob Wills old fiddles. Bob gave it to Merle when he did that "Best Damn Fiddle Player In The World"(Or My Salute to Bob Wills) album.
