I know how you feel man, I lost my Dad in 1996 on my birthday. And I still miss him just as much every day that passes.

You've our sympathies in this time of loss. My father's time came just a few short months ago and I try to not miss him too much through celebrating all that he symbolized every chance I get. Dad was a soldier too. After he retired, he still spent much of his time serving the community. I'm sure that your father left a legacy that will mark his time on earth. Be proud and happy of that. May God bless you and your family.

Sorry to hear of your loss.

I bet your dad had a few great stories to tell. Someone said something to the effect that our fathers live on through us, that the way we live can honor our dads. I can only wish to be such a good man.

I really miss my dad...Doug
