Happy 4th of July Guitar!

To celebrate the birth of a Nation I decided to get a new guitar. It's a Grosh Set Neck with Brazilian fretboard. Sounds like a LP, but with greater clarity and easier playability. The workmanship and attention to detail is second to none.

Very nice indeed! Nice top, and beautiful work on the faux binding - I love how the flame figures continue right on through the stain into the "binding!"

What kind of pickups? I wouldn't mind seeing more pics, too!

Thanks! Per the specs it has Fralin pups and a Brazilian fretboard. The fretwork is amazing.

Here's a full body shot.

Beautiful looking wood. Well done. And all in the name of America!

Don Grosh builds all his guitars in Colorado and use to build in CA. Is that close enough?

The Braz board is legal certified old growth wood.

Apologies for the bufoonery, but I can't help but be reminded of Napoleon Dynamite:

Ahhh, La Fawnda... So young, yet so wise...

Anyway... Nice guitar. A true beauty. The finish on that baby is SUH-weet! I'm jealous. How does she sound?

Thanks! Grosh definitely picks some nice wood and the Nitro just makes it feel right.

The tone is very much in the LP camp. I have a LP R9 with Fralin pups and I'd be hard pressed to tell the difference between it and the Grosh if I was blindfolded. I would say the Grosh sounds clearer and more articulate than most LPs, yet the thick meaty tones are still all there.
