Ok, just found it!

Quote:
On December 3, 2008, a true sequel was reported to be going into development with the working title "Repo Chick". The film will be produced by David Lynch. The story will be set against the backdrop of the present economic downturn, and a boom in repossession that extends far beyond cars and homes.[5][6] On 13 February 2009, Cox announced on his personal blog that shooting had finished and the sequel was now in post-production.[7]

I do not think a week goes by when my friends and I do not fail to quote 'Repo Man' at least once on our college yahoo group. It is like the underpinnings of our existence. I'm not sure how many times I've seen that movie, but it sure is a lot.

Put it on a plate, you'll enjoy it more.

Skully, you're quoting some real pearls there, man. I'd forgotten so many of them.

Saw it on the big screen multiple times when it came out. Bought the soundtrack on vinyl the day after I first saw it. Gotta be the premier soundtrack of that era. It blows "the Big Chill," "Breakfast Club," etc. soundtracks out of the water.

I DVR'd it from HDNet Movies last night and saw in HD for the first time. It reminded me of some very important quotes I left out. Very important!

"It happens sometimes. People just explode. Natural causes."

And one I say regularly to this day --

"Laugh away, f**k face."

Voted and have seen it more than I should have probably, back in the 80s. Love it.

Also, surprised Brad did not mention it, but this movie has Zander in it, guitar for Joe Strummer and the Latino Rockabilly War.

Never saw it. No offense to you fans, but there's nothing in that trailer that would make me interested in seeing it.

"Suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate of shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in looking for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness."

I have to occasionally catch this one at my lips and not let it slip out in inappropriate situations.

That one and, "John Wayne was a f#g."

I was always particularly fond of the TV version and the replacement of the F word with "flip." "Flip you, Pletchner!"

The full exchange:

Miller: John Wayne was a f*g.
All: The hell he was.
Miller: He was, too, you boys. I installed two-way mirrors in his pad in Brentwood, and he come to the door in a dress.

I'm also fond of spouting Lite's response, apropos of nothing: "F**k-a John Wayne!"

BTW, "Los Hermanos Rodriquez do not approve of drugs."
