Wow...what a shock!
I won't be a hypocrite & talk about how I loved everything the guy did.
Honestly, I loved the J5 stuff & not much else that he's done.
But I don't believe anyone who knows what they're talking about could deny that he was one of the most talented people of his generation.
And true talent will always be missed when it's left us.
He was a year younger than me. And he accomplished more by the age of 12 than I have today.
He also managed to get more F'd in the head by the age of 30 than I am now.
There haven't been many celebrities who's personal reputation and behind the scene antics I disliked as much as his.
But it's not up to me to judge him.
He's probably being judged as I write this by the only one who knows the truth & will get what he deserves either way.
And if it should turn out that he was innocent of the things he's been accused of, perhaps he will be reunited with his long lost nose in Rock & Roll Heaven.

I've been sitting here thinking what to say about his passing. A tortured soul? It would seem so. Someone who got away with a serious crime because of his money and stature? I'll leave the final decision for the Big Guy in the Sky (and I don't mean Elvis). A noteworthy artist? Say what you will about him he was the musical force to be reckoned with in the 80's.

Like many I am not quite sure what to feel about..... It is sad that he died because there was so much talent and there were so many things that we know he went through and that he must have went through that we don't know of.

Like his music or hate it. The guy was a musical force of nature.

A huge talent that, sadly wanted to be something he wasn't. There is no more tragic epitaph than that.

RIP

I was never much of a fan but it seemed that he lived a tortured life and that's a shame.
