Discovered a new music store-So overwhelmed!! What to choose???

Found a local music store, couldn't believe I didn't find this sooner. Anyway walked in and all guitars I was in heaven. Never been to a true music store with all guitars. Was there for 2 hours wanted to walk out with something but couldn't right now although they do have lay away plans so that's good. Was torn between two guitars a 95 American Standard rosewood neck/Blue body for 699.99, and a Road Worn Blond for 700.00. But they could order anything and give a better price so it's between like a few different guitars.

1)Fender Road Worn

2)94 Fender American Standard

3)Fender 60's Custom with Bigsby

4)Martin Acoustic Dm series something in that line

5)Takamine Acoustic TAN760OM, or EF350SMCSB

Either way I was gonna throw like 500.00 down and pay some every week for about 2 months so I want something good. Personally Im leaning towards an Acoustic, The Road Worn had a nice feel to it I really liked it. But the 60's classic has 2 things I like. 1)The Bound Body 2)Bigsby when wanted,

What to choose

A Martin DM dreadnought is on my list. I almost popped for one the last time I was at my favorite pawn shop.

Which one of the five played the best?
What style of music are you gonna play?

Ya know, just because you find a new music store, you don't HAVE to buy new gear. You could just look around, say hi, and go home. Oh, who am I kidding... good luck pickin' out your new guitar!

Good choice. That's my daily driver and I love it.

Grind em hard on price, and you're not too far from a Martin D18!

Have fun :)

I hate to piss your punchbowl, but instead of layaway, how about letting that 500.00 lay in your bank acount until you've got enough jack in your jeans to pay the full amount?

That way, in case you find a better deal between now and the time when you'd be paying off the lawaway, you'll be able to jump on it. In other words, you aren't committed to that one deal while you're using the store for a bank if you use your bank for a bank, instead.

Don't buy anything until you can pay in cash.
