Actually, I normally couldn't care less either way except that I have a $100 gift card. Might be time to go wireless with the new Line 6 unit.

You left off Peavey, Zildjian, Sabine, Mel Bay & Levy to name a few.

I was being a bit facetious. However, ALL the brands I have an interest in are not available for discount.

I think I might look for an MXR Carbon Copy or Line 6 Echo Park. Or some picks.

Yeah, that is pretty weak. No Gibson, Martin, Fender?? Isn't that about 75% of the GC inventory? lol.

I received a discount card in the mail and it has much fewer restrictions than the restrictions for the coupons available onlne. As I recall Digitech and Line 6 were not on the list. I only remember them because I'm looking at an RP500 or a POD Live.

I don't have the coupon with me right now so I don't have the complete listings.

I should look in the mail pile for mine. My local shop has a Seagull S6 priced down to $225. I don't really need it, but at $190 it would be worth buying to sell to someone who needs a cheap guitar.

Anybody bought any guitars from GC lately? I was wondering how the economy has affected their willingness to negotiate price, if at all.

Man, I only got the standard 10% off from their flyer. I noticed EH wasn't on there. got my eye on an older Holy Grail Reverb for my Vibro Champ.

Mmmmm. Sennheiser...

Although, that Carbon Copy sounds like a cool idea.

I was in a GC 2 weeks ago and they had a nice used '07 LP Standard hanging on the wall. It was listed for $1900 and a guy comes over and asks if I like it. Sure but it's out of my range so he asked what I was willing to spend, I said $1500 just to get a rejection and he replied that would work. I still didn't buy it though, the force was strong that day.
